We perform so difficult at becoming “greater people”, at getting greater intelligence and more skills. We a course in miracles desire to be enjoyed more and be much more popular. The whole self-help industry is dedicated to increasing the self so you can develop into a better you. That’s still another strategy we secretly play on ourselves, thinking we have to keep rotating our wheels attempting to become better. That self-improvement game is another secret we could to master to let it go of. It is really enjoyable whenever you start to realize that you may not need certainly to become much better than you already are. You’re created perfect. It’s maybe not through self-improvement that you discover peace but through self-acceptance.
As I worked with A Course in Miracles, I could observe that there was an anxiety about heavenly love in my mind. I understood this is the ego’s concern with dropping itself. The pride is scared of being subjected and being seen as a smoke of nothingness. That is driving a car of intimacy. We talk about that fear in relationships, which may also be expected as concern with sexual intimacy, but it is actually a fear of falling our personality, our mask of individuality. It is driving a car of getting taken out by way of a fantastic enjoy, a love therefore strong that none people may also imagine anything as fantastic and powerful!
For me, these are the big secrets, as it does not begin with this great awareness.
